In the modern forging industry, conveyors have become the "arteries" connecting the core processes such as heating, forging, and cooling. Their efficient, stable, and intelligent characteristics not only significantly enhance production efficiency but also drive the industry towards automation and greening.
Facing environments above 1000℃, conveyors use materials such as alloy steel and manganese steel, combined with special chain plate structures (such as hinge type and channel steel partition type), to ensure no deformation and resistance to impact. Some models integrate air-cooling systems, using flip-flopping fans to achieve uniform cooling of the forging surface, reducing the accumulation of oxide scale and improving the subsequent processing accuracy. For example, chain plate conveyors with fans can cool while transporting, ensuring the stability of the quenching process and reducing energy consumption in the workshop.
The width, length and conveying form (horizontal, climbing slope, turning corner) of the conveyor can be customized to meet the conveying requirements of different-sized forgings. For cylindrical forgings, anti-slip baffles can be added; for heavy-duty workpieces, multi-row chains or plate chains structures can be adopted to enhance the load-bearing capacity. In addition, the conveyor can be integrated with receiving trays, buffer baffles and other accessories, forming an automated production line with heating furnaces, ring rolling machines and other equipment, reducing manual intervention. Especially in the production of aerospace precision forgings, it plays a key role.

The forging conveyor is not only a tool for material handling but also a key equipment that drives the intelligent and green transformation of the industry. Its efficient, stable and flexible characteristics help enterprises achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement as well as process upgrading, and become an important support for the high-quality development of the forging industry. In the future, with the integration of Internet of Things technology, the conveyor will further evolve towards intelligent and adaptive directions, creating greater value for the industry.
